Moving around Cities in Tuscany is not very difficult as other cities. You can rent a and drive your self, if your group is small, this is ideal, you all can enjoy your own way. But public transportation , bus and trains also available to move city by city.
Other than Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and San Gimignano are other cities we have to visit to complete Tuscany trip.
Leaning Tower of Pisa is most popular attraction in Pisa and most of travelers go to Florence only also try to visit this place. By train you can go to Pisa from Florence by one hour. And Siena is one of the greatest medieval town in Italy. If you have time to visit Siena tall bell tower, you will amaze with views of the siena city. This is a small city with less crowd, but they are friendly and you can enjoy maximum there, even narrow street in Siena has different view of medieval ruins.
For wine , Chianti is the best place to visit. They are world famous for red wine. We can enjoy natural beauty in Chianti while slipping glass of red wine. Lucca is more famous for churches and some ancient medieval buildings. The Roman amphitheater is located in Lucca and is over in 1900 years old. The town center is completely enclosed by a brick wall built in the 16th century and you can take a walk along the top of the wall. San Gimignano is for hill towers, Originally it had 72 tower and now it is limited to 14 or more. Not to 72. natural sceneries with Hill is amazing
I may not detail about Florence on this post, It has to cover lot and I will write sperate post when I have spare time. I have cover Florence in several posts.
